Speed and Ice: Sam R received the new timing equipment and tried it out with the old and found it works well. Andy Nienhuis reports the first autocross of the season is at Muskegon CC in the north lot this weekend. It will be Saturday only and we have 63 entries. The next autocross is July 4th weekend at GVSU with Saturday being the gimmick day for FG members only and Sunday open to all. FG members are reminded they can always race even if the “cap” has been met.
Early September the autocross will be held at MA Imports, and he is always looking for other good locations. The subject of live timing at the autocrosses was discussed. That will require more updates to the equipment and at an
excessive cost.
Social Chair Mary Savage reported Johnson Park is reserved and paid for the July Summer Party. We just need someone to volunteer to grill the meat.

New Business: Andy N asked for nominations for the 2018 Member of the Year Award. There were none. Due to the lack of nominations, the FG will reserve the award for future years as recognition of an outstanding member who steps
up in time of need.
